Mime on TV
Robert Bennett and his mime company, Mime International, will appear on “Kaleidoscope” on Friday night. Robert Bennett was seen on New Zealand television recently when he performed solo on the South Pacific Television programme, “Opportunity Knocks.” He is a senior lecturer in drama at the Wellington Teachers’ College. Mime International has been invited to tour Poland in 1978, and will perform excerpts from its proposed tour on “Kaleidoscope.” “Kaleidoscope” will also include * a play without words, “Telephone Kiosk,” in which a man enters a telephone box and finds he cannot get out. The tension mounts in the last moments of the film. This item comes from overseas.
