Long ‘education’
Thousands of officers from the defeated South Vietnamese armed forces are still being held in Communist prisons, according to a' Vietnamese refugee who has arrived in Perth. Nguyen Van Ba. aged 38. claimed that the ■jailed officers had originally [been told that they would I only need 10 days re-educa-Ition. “That was two years .ago.” he said, “and many of them have not even been fallowed to see their families [in that time.” — Perth.
