PA Wellington The Department of Statistics’ monthly survey of re--1 tail trade shows that the total value of sales in March was $426.49M. After correction for ■ seasonal changes in purchas- ■ ing patterns and for differing I numbers of trading days in i each month, March sales ■ showed a decrease of 0.2 per i cent compared with February and an increase of 13.4 per ■ cent on March. 1976, figures.
