I An Auckland man, Bruce | iNicol Wood, aged 22. an' iunemployed builder’s ( ( labourer, who was said by ( ( the police to have sunbathed I in the nude on New Brigh-i [ton beach, Christchurch, ap- | peared in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland. He was charged with wil-l Tully and obscenely exposing; his person in a public place, ■; Wood admitted the charge,: and was convicted and fined $25 by Mr N. R. Taylor, S.M., who said that the case l was a minor one. Wood told the Court he had had no intention to. shock. He had arrived from Auckland only three days! lefore, and was not familiar with the beaches popular! with bathers. !
