Six hurt in car accidents

Three youths were injured, one seriously, when two cars were involved in a col-1 lision on the new Durham Street bridge early yesterday morning. David Langley, aged 17, of Cranford Street. St Albans, was reported to be in a sat-; isfactory condition last evening fter undergoing surgery' for head injuries. Another youth. Robin' Craig McGill, aged 20. of, Geraldine Street. St Albans, also suffered head injuries; but was discharged from Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday. A third person involved was not admitted to hospital Two young women were taken to Princess Margaretj Hospital with head injuries and lacerations when they’ were involved in a collision! at the Ham Road and Memorial Avenue intersection at 6.40 p.m. yesterday. Marceline Borren. aged 17, and Rosemary Ackroyd, aged: 17, both of 137 Hamilton; Avenue, Fendalton, are re-1 ported to be in a satisfac-' tory condition. Deborah Kave Stewart, aged 16. of 241 Woodham' Road, was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital after a collision between two cars' at the comer of Stan more Road and Hereford Street about, noon yesterday. Miss Stewart suffered j head and leg injuries. Her condition last evening wasj described as satisfactory. '
