March 16. 1977, the Waimairi County Council passed a resolution by way of Special Order, making adjustments to the boundaries of the Wairarapa and Avonhead Ridings. Belfast and Harewood Ridings and the Papanui and Styx Ridings. The purport of the resolution is to transfer:— 1. An area of land adjoining the Waimairi Stream, south of Westburn Terrace from the Avonhead Riding to the Wairarapa Riding. 2. An area of land between Greers Road and the Waimairi Stream from the Avonhead Riding to the Wairarapa Riding. 3. An area of land in Greers Road and adjoining the Waimairi Stream from the Wairarapa Riding to the Avonhead Riding. 4. An area of land south of Englefield Road and adjoining Kaputone Creek from the Harewood Riding to the Belfast Riding. 5. An area of land in Engle- . field Road from the Bel- ' fast Riding to the Harewood Riding. 6. An area of land east of Grimseys Road, north of Prestons Road and adjoining the proposed northern motorway from the Styx Riding to the Papanui Riding. The alteration hereby made shall take effect for representation purposes on and after the day of the next triennial elections: viz October 8, 1977 and for financial purposes from April 1. 1978. Copies of the proposed Special Order and plans of the proposed areas to be altered are deposited at the places shown hereunder, and may be inspected during normal office hours: — County Office: Cnr Cljde and Jeffreys Roads City Receiving Office: 150 Manchester Street Parklands Receiving Office; Mairehau Road near its Intersection with Inwoods Road.
