Robinson said he has been disappointed ately with Arbour, which will! dart on the latter clays of the •arnival. Shift Time and Napiat walked around to the 400 m peg and

Derby Day and Red Star came in from the 600 m in good style in 37sec. They finished clear of Hasty Simm, a half-brother by (Hastings Road to General Simm. I Leo Robinson's Great Western 'candidates, Fumbler and Sharzan, were given light exercise work on the inside tracks. They ; were to have schooled over a limited number of fences yester- ' clay. “T don't want the public to; think I am bringing down a team of certainties,” Robinson | said. “The tracks have been too hard up home to race jumpers iand there are some important ■ races coming for them when 1 ithey return home.” Robinson added that his pair] might take in a brush hurdle race on the last day at Riccariton on their way home.
