Pahiatua candidate
Four ballots were needed before Mr John Falloon was selected as the National Party candidate for the Pahiatua by-election last evening. The selection meeting in the Pahiatua Town Hall did not finish until after midnight. Mr Falloon is a young sheep fanner who farms in partnership with his father. He is married, with three sons.
