Safeguard
A policy designed to protect the customer as much as possible from increased costs has been devised by Keith Hay Homes, Ltd. The company gives an assurance that there will be no increase in the con-
tract price before and during the period of construction, provided the contract is signed within two calendar months of its issue. This can give the buyer very real protection against rapidly rising
costs which seem to be a fact of life these days. Keith Hay Homes has a policy also of utilising the advantages of new products. These include the Jury wall, a particle board ■wall lining which can be used in lieu of conventional framing and wall-board, and Marley cladding — vertical plastic sheathing made in Auckland.
Keith Hay Homes will undertake full development work. Home unit schemes can include paving, drive-ways, car-ports, grassing, fencing, screening, landscaping and the provision of clothes-lines and letter boxes.
Customers can naturally choose furnishings according to their pockets and individual tastes, but many have found that real savings can be made through having carpets laid and drapes and light fittings installed before the home unit leaves the production yard for the site.
