Judge fired for part in Lockheed scandal

law. There is no appeal against the court’s sentence.
The indictment said that Kito had passed a taperecording of a telephone conversation last. August between Mr Miki and a man posing as the prosecutorgeneral to the national daily; “Yomiuri Shimbun,” knowing the possible political consequences of this. The caller urged Mr Miki to intervene in the Lockheed investigation. Last Friday, Kito was 1 charged by the Tokyo Dis-; trict Prosecutor’s Office with; violating the minor offences law by placing the phonecall. He has denied doing so.
