Farm sold after auction
Double Corner farm, a grazing and fattening property about 4km east of Amberley, was sold privately yesterday for an undisclosed sum after it had been passed in at auction for $285,000.
The 217.43 ha property includes a brick homestead, a four-bedroom cottage and an extensive range of farm buildings.
The 1972 Government valuation was $123,000, said the auctioneer, Mr G. May, of N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Association, Ltd.
