Tournament of champions
Hie Christchurch Women’s Bowling Centre’s annual tournament for first-year club champions will go into its final rounds at Woolstbn this morning. The tournament began on Tuesday with more than 30 clubs represented.
The last two - lifer, B. Hartwell (ChristchurchRichmond) was beaten, 25-11, in the last round yesterday by T. Southam (Christchurch). The victory gave Mrs Southam a bye through to the final and her opponent will be the winner of the semifinal between Mrs Hartwell and M. Watson (Linwood).
