High dudgeon
Mrs Margaret Whitlam, wife of the former Australian Prime Minister. Mr Gough Whitlam. has said in an interview that she will ignore the Australian GovernorGeneral (Sir John Kerr) during the Queen’s visit to Australia. She said that when Sir John presented her to the Queen, she would “ignore him as if he didn’t exist.”
