Race guides delayed
PA Wellington The production of five racing magazines published by Independent Newspaper. Ltd, is threatened by a journalists’ dispute which could result in suspension of workers.
The 17 journalists employed by I.N.L, Print have banned overtime and week-end work following a New Zealand Journalists’ Union dispute over a house agreement.
The manager of I.N.L. Print, Mr Peter Chappell, yesterday said that the production of “Turf Digest,” “Racetrack,” “Midweek Flash,” “Friday Flash” and the “New 'Zealand Trotting Guide” was being delayed, In some cases up to 25 hours.
