2nd test five days
Regardless of the final outcome of the first cricket test at Lancaster Park, the return match between Australia and New Zealand, which begins at Auckland on Friday, will be of five days duration. Mr W. A. Hadlee, the | chairman of the New Zealand Cricket Council board of control, said yesterday that there was no proviI sion in the tour agreement j for an additional day to be added to ensure a result in the series. The Australians are to return home tomorrow week. The final segment of play in the first test will I be televised by TXT today starting at 4.30 p.m., if , the outcome of the game i is still in doubt.
