The unaudited group net profit of Nylex Corporation, Ltd, plastics manufacturer, was sAust I.IM, in the year to December 31. the directors say in a preliminary report. This compares with a loss net of SI.7M in the previous corresponding period. The trading profit was SI.3M ($2.5M loss previously), on group turnover (which rose 23.7 per cent to $79. IM. The profit: was after providing $610,000 more for tax at $668,000. The group’s equity-shares ■of net. profits of associated ■ companies rose $220,000 to $1,333,000. and extraordinary items of loss were reduced from $452,000 to $245,000.
