Fleeing man fatally hurt
PA Wellington Head injuries suffered .when he fell down a bank I when fleeing on foot from' ■police were found to be the cause of death of 20-.year-old Owen Philip Watts. Making this finding at the inquest, the Wellington .Coroner (Mr A. D. McGregor) said the. young man I was clearly the author of his jown misfortune. The death ioccurred on . a concrete driveway on November 26 last year as a result of the dead youth and a companion seeking to avoid police after stealing two motor-scooters. They had abandoned the! motor-scooters and fled in> ; different directions when a■ ! police car approached.
