Firearms stolen
i Firearms worth more j than $1650 were stolen from Tisdalls Sports Cen- , tre, 91 Cashel Street, at the week-end. Thieves forced a door of
! the shop and escaped with ■ a number of replica pistols, two shotguns, two .22 calibre rifles, a .303 calibre , rifle, and a quantity of ammunition.
No arrests had been ,i made bv last evening, des- ; pite extensive police en- ■: quiries.
Detectives are also investigating the theft of a ' stereo unit, worth about $ll7O. from a flat in Thornycroft Street, Fendal- | ton.
