Many enrol for Maori festival

About 50 jeople have enroled for the Te WaahiPounamu Maori arts festival which will begin in Christchurch on Sunday. The publicity officer for the festival (Mr B. Waipara) said that 30 people enrolled over the week-end and a further 20 yesterday. Sponsored by the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council, the week-long festival is being held at the Teachers’ Training College at. Ham.
