Group reads ’The Press’
Copies of yesterday’s issue of "The Press” were being read by the group in Suva last evening before the Oriana sailed for Pago Pago. The papers, together with Saturday’s and Monday’s editions, were flown to Auckland where they were transferred to an Air Pacific 1-11 jet for the flight to Suva, via Tonga. The aircraft, on its regular afternoon service to Fiji, landed at Nausori, 15 miles north of Suva, about 6 p.tn. Air Pacific staff had the newspapers in the hands of Mr Brittenden by 7 pan., five hours before the ship was scheduled to depart on the third leg of her Pacific cruise.
