PROPOSED CHANGES UNDER SECTION 29 TO THE REVIEWED DISTRICT SCHEME WHICH BECAME OPERATIVE ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1974. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Walmalri County Council made on December 15, 1976, the Council has resolved to initiate changes to the Operative District Scheme under Section 29 of the Town and Country Planning Act. 1953. The following is a summary of the proposed changes:— CHANGE No. 15 The change involves the re-zoning of land bounded by Annex Road in the west, Wrights Road in the east and lying between the proposed Southern Motorway and Halls Road and its extension to Annex Road from Industrial C to Industrial Cl and the inclusion in the District Scheme of a statement of zone policy and ordinances to be applicable in respect of the Industrial Cl zone. The purpose of th* Industrial Cl zone is as a mixed use zone designed to attract manufacturing and engineering industries, associated offices limited showrooms and industrial research centres. The ordinances ar* framed with controls in height, bulk and location to ensure harmony in the treatment of all sites and between Industrial development and the public reserve and motorway development. CHANGE No. 16 To ’esignate th* proposed reserve on the northern side of the Southern Motorway between Halls Road and Annex Road as a Proposed Recreation Reserve with the use to be Passive and Amenity with an underlying zoning of. Industrial Cl. CHANGE No. 17 To amend the northern boundary of the Southern Motorway between Torrens Road and Annex Road where it has now been determined. Details of the proposed changes have been deposited at the Council Offices at the comer of Clyde Road and Jeffreys Road, Fendalton, In accordance with Section 30A (4) (a) (11) of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1953, and shall be open fox- inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein when the above place is open to the public. Objections to th* changes or any part thereof, shall be in writing on Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulation 1960 and shall be lodged oxfly at the office of the Waixnairi County Council at any time not later than 4 p.m., on Friday, February 18, 1977. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any persons who wish to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections after he notifies the County Clerk in writing, within the” period of which public notice will be given.
