The Bar of Fundy in Canada has the biggest tidal range in the world. These 100 ft high pillars, the Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick, have been carved largely by tidal power. Various schemes have been put forward for using these tides for generating electricity, but so far no decisions have been taken.
