j Staff correspondent JPA London A man who lived in New {Zealand for 87 years, and [was acknowledged as Britain’s oldest living person, j has died — aged 110. i James Alfred Harrow is listed in the current “GuinIness Book of Records” as Britain’s “oldest living person.” He died at his daughti er’s home in Hampshire. Mr Harrow, who was bom ’in London on November 21, 11866, emigrated to New Zealand when he was 12, and ibecame a master plumber in [Christchurch. He retired in 119.34 and divided his time [between New Zealand and [Britain, finally settling with [his daughter at Sherborne St John, near Basingstoke, .Hampshire, 11 years ago, [when he was 99. I “Guinness” says that the longest authenticated lifespan is 113 years.
