A social worker in Hamilton set a new world record for non-stop snooker playing j during the week-end, to raise I funds to keep open the I Anchorage Hostel in the city. The hostel’s director (Mr Paul Phillips), who set a new world record of 100 hours, and broke the present world record of 76 hours, has raised $ll,OOO so far by sponsorship.
