Lyttelton’s bulk loader on Casliin Quay rumbled into life at 11 p.m. on Thursday evening after being Incapacitated for most of the day by an electrical fault. The delay cost the bulk ship Kaneshizu Maru nearly 15 hours loading time, but if the loader gives no more trouble, she should be on her way back to Japan with 10,000 tonnes of Buller coal by this morning.
