p A Dunedin Kevin Morton the leading South Island jockey last season, has had liis licence renewed by the Racing Conference and has been engaged for Arrow vn in the James Hazlett Stakes at the Otago Racing Club’s meeting today. Morton did not renew his licence at the close of last season because of increasing weight. His last day of raceriding was at the Christchurch Hunt meeting in July. He has been riding work for Gerald Robertson. Arrowvn’s Wyndham trainer for a month, and will ride at about 53kg. The licence renewal is conditional to his employment with Robertson.
