Red Cross to raise $20,000
The New Zealand Red Cross Society has been to raise $20,000 for 35 different items to improve health facilities and medical training in the Pacific area. The items, which include wrap-around stretchers for carrying patients to hospital by canoe, and portable baby scales, will be used in sia Pacific Island countries.
