I’ was goodbye to the glory of becoming the first All Block side to win an at-home test series against the Springboks. And it was goodbye to glory — in all probability — to the glory of mighty Ail Block-Springbok encounters, the peak of world Rugby for half a century. For this tour took place ago mt a bockground of riots and killings in Block African townships and of a major Black African walkout of the Montreal Olympic Gomes.
