Drainage pipes fitted with flexible push-fit joints are tested in a British factory. All that is needed to produce a leakproof seal between lengths of this vitrified clay pipe is to push the flexible socket joints together. Laying of the pipes is a simple operation which can continue irrespective of weather or trench conditions. The system includes a range of pipes from 150mm to 450mm in diameter, with bends, junctions, access fittings and tapers.
