MARKET TONE REMAINS WEAK
Share prices were easier on a mixed New Zealand market yesterday. Insurances and retailers were firmer, timber, chemical, and pastoral-related companies mixed, and engineering firms easier. A large parcel of 215,400 Dominion Breweries 11 per cent convertible preference shares accounted . for 53.0 per cent of total turnover in otherwise quiet trading.
