M.L.C. increases div.
The M.L.C., Ltd. will increase the interim dividend from 8.5 cents to 9 cents a share, the directors say. New business, including term insurance, written by the Mutual Life and Citizens Assurance Co.. Ltd. was a record for the 10 months to October 31. New business insured in Australia increased SIM to sAustl264.3M, while business written in New Zealand fell $7.5M to $122.8M. New business premium income for the IO months fell $600,000 tai $24.3M. The directors say that it is net possible to cal-', culate surpluses for the ordinary and collector branches for 1976. until the valuation of policy liabilities is completed in March.
