A total of 406,000 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 12,000 special sales. The total was 73,700 more than on Tuesday. Industrial shares totalled 404,800 (332,300 on Tuesday), and 1200 mining and oil shares were traded (none on Tuesday). A total of 98 issues was traded.
