Summit call
President Giscard d’Estaing has called for a summit meeting of the industrialised countries to discuss the world’s economic! and monetary situation. His proposal, disclosed at a ipress conference after a day! lof talks in Pisa, Italy, with I Italian leaders, was endorsed by the Italian Prime Minister (Mr Andreotti). Mr Giscard d’Estaing said that he would like the summit to take place by the middle of next year, and to be preceded by a meeting of Comimon Market Heads of Govlernment. — Pisa.
