One man convicted

After a defended hearing in ■ the Magistrate's Court in which; tour Fijian Indians were‘charged , with assault, Mr F. G. Paterson.; S.M., entered convictions for j inly one of the defendants. The defendants were all formerly employed by the Nassella Tussock Board at Cheviot. They were Pedro Nodrokoro, iged 25, charged with assault , ind injuring with intent, ( Savenaca Delaivatuba, aged 36, • barged with assault. Pita ialeibaravi, aged 33, charged vith assault, and Sevanaia xinkinilau, aged 34, who . ippeared on two charges of issault. The charges against KiniI linilau were withdrawn by I sergeant B. G.
