WEAK PRICE TREND CONTINUES

The weak trend in share prices continued on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, in the wake of hints of a mini-budget early in the New Y'ear and the revaluation of the Australian dollar. With the exception of the mining and oil sector, which did not trade, all sectors of the market were mixed. Rights trading accounted for 29.0 per cent of total turnover on a moderately active market.
