‘Truth’ suits now $5¼M
PA Auckland A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court at Auckland by the managingdirector of Securitibank, Ltd (Mr J. G. Russell), claiming damages of $250,000 against the publishers of the weekly newspaper “Truth.”’ Mr Russell alleges that he was defamed in an article published in last week’s edition of “Truth.” On Monday, Securitibank filed a writ claiming damages of SSM from “Truth,” in connection with the same article.
