Connors into W.C.T. final

Jimmy Connors won a semi-final of the World Championship of Tennis Challenge Cup yesterday when he beat Vitas Gerulaitis, 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 6-1. The victory was worth SUSSO,OOO to Connors and put him in the final to be played in Las Vegas on April 10. He will meet the winner from another foursome of Hie Nastase, Rod Laver, Manuel Orantes or fellow American Harold Solomon.
