Christmas bonus for others
Sir, — It was interesting to read of a couple’s •entice in handing their (Christmas bonus back to the Government, whose members receive large salaries in spite of our recession. I know a group of age beneficiaries, including myself, who have no other assets but who give their bonuses every year to such worthy causes as the Christmas Appeal for the Less Fortunate, the Red Cross, and the S.P.C.A. But they do not advertise it. Which cause is the most worthy? I wonder. — Yours, etc.. LUCIE BROOKER. November 26,(1976.
