New Lion leader
The East-Shirley captain, Graham Pulley, has displaced Bevan Congdon at the top of the points table for the Lion “Player of the Day” award.
Pulley, who was awarded the maximum of three points for some effective bowling on Saturday, has • nine points, and David Stead, the Riccarton captain, has joined Congdon in second place with eight. Only one behind are Sydenham’s lan Wilson and Stephen Boock. of St Albans, witn a group of seven players on six points. Saturday’s awards were.— Three points: Pulley, Bill Aldridge, John Calder. Donald Ambrose.
Two points: Bruce Irving, Bob Impey, Stead, Boock. One point: Dennis Smolenksi, Terry Mcßride. Geoff Allen, Stephen Bateman.
