Cricket trial teams
Twenty-four players have been named for a trial to (select a team to represent Wl estem Districts in the South Island secondary schools’ cricket t Dumament in Christchurch from December 14 to 16.
The trial will be at Queen Elizabeth H Park No. 'I next Saturday at 10.30 a.m. 'Players to bring own gear and lunch. The teams are:— Possibles.—A. Devlin (i captain), R. Ashworth. P. Blyth. J, Henderson. D. Guthrie. M_ Kennett (North Canty), T. Te lAmo, S. Marder. S. Collier, S. Tfeen (Suburban). P. Campbell. J«. Bernard (West Coast).
Probables.—S. Thrmias (captain), D. Hassett, D. Harvey, P. Visser, D. Walker (Suburban), P. W’inter, L. Marsh. H; Neal. M. McLay, C. Donald, M. Chamberlain (North CanteMbury), B. Thiele (West Coast).
