N.Z. SHAREMARKET MIXED IN QUIET TRADING
The New Zealand sharemarket began the week on a mixed note in quiet trading. The undertone of the market was easy, blit frequently traded issues, Fletcher, N.Z. Forest Products, and W attie, went against the trend of the predominantly second-line stocks in the falls. Donaghys fell 10c, while Allied Farmers. National Insurance, and N.Z. News eased 5c each. The N.Z.U.C. index dropped 0.51 points to 319.77.
