MIXED MARKET RISES
The New Zealand sharemarket was marginally firmer in mixed trading yesterday. Turnover rose, helped by special sales of preference shares, and large parcels of U.E.8., and N.Z. Breweries ordinary shares. Brierley Investments, C.F.C.A., and M. O’Brien were prominent among the rises. The building and allied section of the market was easier.
