Q.B.E. Ins. recovers
A sAustB.6M recovery in underwriting operations for the second half of the year has enabled Q.B.E. Insurances Group, Ltd, to make a record net profit of 53.2 M for 1975-76 and a return to the dividend lists. The preliminary report for the year to June 30 showed that Q.B.E. had a net profit of $3.2M, in contrast to a net loss of $5.4M in 1974-75, a net deficit of $10.7M in the year before that, and compared to a profit of 51.27 M in 1972-73.
