New Japan service
PA Auckland A new container service between Japan and New Zealand will be provided by three lines from November. A ship built for the run—the Godwit—is expected in Auckland on her first voyage on November 7. She can carry 1450 containers. There are plans for a second ship on the run early next year. The service has been organised by the Japan Line, Mitsui Osk, and the Crusader Line.
