Lunch-time shoppers and Cathedral Square “sitters” gathered to watch and listen as several hundred Christians sang and prayed at a rally which yesterday opened the Festival of Faith organised by
five local Pentecostal churches. The Selah Group, a Christian rock band, opened the rally in the Square at 12.30 p.m. Mr Frank Houston, of Lower Hutt, addressed the crowd soon after.
