Harp and Sunnal well forward

Two of Woodville’s highclass gallopers — Harp and Sunnal — step out tomorrow and they looked forward when they had their final I rials yesterday. Harp is an acceptor for Ibe Higgle Handicap at Wanganui, while Sunnal is due Io resume in the Trelawney Handicap at Te Rapa. Times were no indication yesterday, as trials were held on the extreme outs'de of the course proper, which was waterlogged. Harp and Khanji went from the 1600 m in 2min 3.Bsec, and they were eased down over the final states. Harp has been ready to resume for several weeks and despite l a wide draw should race prominently at Wanga nui. Khanji earlier jumped a round of steeplechase fences well. He is in the Gonville Hurdles tomorrow.
Sunnal galloped early over 600 m and was not timed. He has been showing his formei dash in training. Ron Taylor has the mount at Te Rapa, and it should be remembered that Sunnal has raced well fresh in the past. Legal Command and Klein galloped well over 801 hn in 54.4. the last 600 in 40.4, Revistan took 56 for the last 800 m of her work, the final 600 in 42. She was placed on the first day at Wanga nui and could again pay a dividend if she lines up in the Spring Handicap. Sally Beming went 1200 m in 1.25. She was joined by Diamonds and Ri; >ir ■■ at the|
at the post, taking 42.6. Membership and Singing Wings ran 600 m in 43. Liberation was travelling well alongside Balskelly over 800 m in 56, the last 600 in 41.2. Famour took 56.2 for 800, the final 600 in 41.6.
Preneur worked easily ever I 1200 m in 1:29.2, the last 600 in 44.8. Amin clocked 43.2 for an easy 600 m. Ma Coquette and Golden! Chariot went 1000 m in 1:8.4. the last 600 in 41.4. Stonej Wall completed a round with 600 m in 46. A Sobig three-year-old scampered over 600 in 40.4 Yukikoi look 1:11 for 1000 m, the last >OO in 42. Odin, which could resume at Masterion, looked well when she ran 600 m in 44. | Troopship was let off with a sprint down the straight. He will probably race at Hastings. •
