Wadsworth fund at $2880
Two donations, each of $lOO, have helped take the Ken Wadsworth testimonial fund to $2884.
These gifts, easily the biggest received so far, came from a Christchurch businessman and from a young New Zealander at present in Europe on holiday. Wadsworth, an outstanding test cricketer, died of cancer last month, leaving a widow and a daughter of 19 months.
Gifts to. the fund may be sent to Box 1005, Christchurch, or left at “The Press” office.
