Faint praise for P.M.
PA Wellington The leader of the Values Party (Mr. Tony Kunowski) has said that the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) is displaying at least some understanding of the fundamental economic problems that confront New Zealand and the rest of the capitalist world. “This is an advance of about half a step on the previous Labour Administration, which acted as if it was resolving a 1950 s type of economic recession”, Mr Kunowski said. “However, that does not mean that the Values Party agrees with the National Government’s solutions. Indeed, we consider their solutions not only inadequate and lacking in human understanding, but distinctly repressive and reactionary,” he said.
