Tr Nelson buys into Sealord

PA Wellington Transport (Nelson) Holdings, Ltd, has purchased a 38 per cent shareholding in Sealord Products , Ltd, fish processor, from Dalhoff and King Holdings, Ltd. The managing director of Sealord (Mr C. C. Huffiett) reports.

It was also with some regret that he saw Dalhoff and King bow out, as it was one of the companies which invested in the enterprise when the company was formed on April 1, 1969. Sealord Products employs 200 people in Nelson, and has branches in Whitanga and Invercargill. The diversified nature of Transport Nelson's interests would bring significant advantages to the processing company, Mr Huffiett said.
