WEEK-END SPORTS
The final of the Federation Cup, the most celebrated teams’ trophy in women’s tennis, is a feature on Saturday’s “Sport on One", together with other international events. They include soccer (England v Ireland), showjumping from the Royal international horse show, and the John Player Grand Prix. The film of this fore-
most event in British motor racing includes the dramatic incident which occurred at the start of the race. Motor racing also features on the local scene with coverage of the Benson and Hedges 1000 held last week-end at Pukekohe. The “Sport on One” Challenge table tennis
series ends with an international flavour, the final being fought out between Steven Knapp of Australia and James Morris of New Zealand. Early on Sunday morning there will be highlights of the All Blacks’ match against Orange Free State, followed by live coverage of the fourth test with South Africa.
